Meet Geno
If you follow me on instagram {@nicolinaw} you know it has been all puppy cuddles over here.
We adopted our little guy, Geno, from Atlanta Pet Rescue on Wednesday. He is a 1 year old, Dachshund mix, we think with maybe some lab and beagle but aren't 100% sure. He has been a great addition to our crew. We don't really know too much about him but APR got him from Henry County Animal Control early last week. We met him Saturday and fell in love, he had to get his surgery {snip snip} on Tuesday and then we could pick him up Wednesday.
We couldn't have been more impressed with Atlanta Pet Rescue, and would recommend them to anyone in our area looking to adopt a dog or cat!
As far as his name, anyone who knows Cameron knows how much he loves the Pittsburgh Penguins, Geno is named after his favorite player, Evgeni "Geno" Malkin. It just kind of fit, and he is already responding to his name!
So far Geno is super chill, likes peanut butter, his new bed, following us around, strangely he loves the vacuum {match made in heaven for Cameron}
