Disneyland Hotel

Cameron and I celebrated our big time and stayed at the Disneyland Hotel last month for our anniversary. Our full review on this amazing hotel is below. If you have any questions at all about the Disneyland Hotel or our time in California please leave them in the comments below.

This review is from the perspective of a WDW lifetime visitor and annual passholder. It was our first time visiting the Disneyland Resort with the exception of a one day trip my family had taken to California Adventure the year it opened.

Upon arrival to the Disneyland Hotel we were totally immersed in the vintage feel of this hotel. It's the perfect mix of modern Fantasy and classic Disneyland style. The main lobby is located in the Fantasyland building so everything is themed accordingly.

The carpet in the lobby has a Small World inspired pattern and the tables and chairs are a much less dizzying version of the Tea Cups.

Even if you aren't staying at the Disneyland Hotel, a trip to the lobby is well worth it. There is also a great gift shop.

As far as WDW comparisons go, this lobby feels like a Fantasyland inspired version of the Contemporary. It's very modern and classic feeling but the colors and fun touches make it so special.

While visiting the lobby don't forget to check out the most adorable bathrooms in all the land.

I want to wallpaper my entire house with this wallpaper. If you can make that happen please let me know.

Next to the rooms. We were staying in the Adventureland Tower. I totally forgot to take any pics of the Lobby in our tower but it was filled with models and photos of classic Adventureland. To say I loved all of the Vintage Disneyland charm in this hotel is an understatement.

Black and white photos of Walt in Disneyland, and of Adventureland filled the room and bathroom.

The magical headboard was really my favorite part of everything. It sings 'When you wish upon a star' and the fireworks light up. It's amazing.

The room itself was clean, spacious and comfy. We had a view of Downtown Disney which was amazing. The Adventureland building is the closest to Downtown Disney and the parks so that was a nice perk of staying there as well.
