Best Day Ever Save The Date Cards

The Best Day Ever save the dates I designed for Scott and Emily (Oh Yeah Disney!) were one of my favorite design projects that I worked on this year.

Scott and Emily were planning a destination wedding, and save the dates are especially important when your guests may need to make travel arrangements. They also wanted their guest to feel like they were opening a packet so there were lots of little items inside.

The first thing guests would see when they opened the envelope was the top piece, a smaller card that said "OUR Best Day Ever INCLUDES YOU".

The main piece, featured the wedding date along with their names done in hand lettering, was sacked below that and that listed out the location and information guests would need to make the travel plans.

These pieces were wrapped with the band that has a repeating "Save the Date" patterned on it.

The envelopes were a copper metallic with the addresses printed on the front, and sealed with a small ivory wax seal. I love how all of these elements created a really special packet to get their guests excited about the day.
